Staying Active. Building Character. Thriving for Life.
Active FGians is Fern Green Primary School's Learning for Life Programme that empowers every student to lead an active, healthy and purposeful life.
Through physical activity, sports and outdoor education, students develop the confidence, resilience and become self-directed to overcome challenges, build meaningful relationships and make positive lifestyle choices beyond school.
Our programme nurtures every Active FGian to be:
🏃 Active in Body & Mind – Confident movers who value lifelong health and well-being.
💪 Resilient in Character – Individuals who persevere, collaborate and grow through challenges.
🌱 Lifelong & Self-Directed – Learners who take ownership of their learning and active lifestyles.
⭐ Confident FGians – Young people who lead with confidence and contribute positively to their communities.
Throughout their six-year journey, students participate in a progressive range of authentic experiences, from learning to cycle and ride safely, exploring a variety of sports and games, to embarking on outdoor adventures through Camp Unity and cycling or hiking expeditions. These milestone programmes provide opportunities for students to challenge themselves, discover their strengths and develop the confidence and character to thrive both in and beyond school.
Together, these experiences inspire our students to stay active, build character and thrive for life.
