Support Programme

• The Learning Support Programme helps Primary 1 and 2 students improve spelling and word recognition through early intervention and targeted support.

• The Reading Remediation Programme supports Primary 3 and 4 students with reading difficulties by teaching strategies to enhance comprehension during English lessons.

• The School-based Dyslexia Remediation (SDR) programme supports Primary 3 and 4 students with dyslexia through MOE-designed strategies to improve reading and spelling skills.

• EL Fiesta

  • The characters of notable books come alive in Fern Green on EL Fiesta. They roam the school, telling their stories through a myriad of reading activities from the assembly programme, class and recess activities. 

Dressed as our favourite storybook characters - Characters Alive!

Teachers tell exciting stories through books and puppets in the school library, kindling the imagination of young minds.

Recess buzzed with reading fun—Kahoot! games at parent-led booths inspired students to explore and enjoy the world of books.

Inquiry-based Learning 

Sparking a child’s curiosity is a gateway to igniting a lifelong love for learning. The Inquiry-based Learning (IbL) programme aims to offer Primary 1 and 2 students exciting opportunities to explore their surroundings, ask questions, and seek answers.

Talking Point and News in Brief 

To boost communication skills and confidence, two platforms—"Talking Point" for P3 students and "News in Brief"—offer regular practice in public speaking, fostering clarity, persuasion, and awareness of meaningful issues among students. 

Confident and articulate, our students took the stage in the News in Brief segment to present current affairs, sharpening their communication skills and staying informed about the world around them.
