Temporary Fuel Surcharge for School Bus Services (September and October 2026)
Following the MOE announcements via Parents Gateway on 9 April 2026 and 15 May 2026 regarding the temporary support measures for school bus operators, our school bus operator, BT&TAN Transport Pte Ltd, implemented a temporary fuel surcharge of 13% on the prevailing school bus fares from August 2026. This surcharge was within the 20% permissible limit set by MOE.
In view of the recent decrease in prevailing fuel prices, BT&TAN Transport Pte Ltd will reduce the fuel surcharge from 13% to 10% for September and October 2026. The revised 10% fuel surcharge will apply to the prevailing school bus fares for September and October 2026.
